Kerrin Jeromin

Kerrin is the co-host of Transforming Energy: The NREL Podcast. Kerrin’s passion for science communication led her to join the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in 2019. In her role, she develops strategic communications plans and engaging multimedia content to showcase the latest and greatest research in renewable energy and energy efficiency happening at the lab. 

Prior to joining NREL, Kerrin spent more than a decade in the field of broadcast meteorology. She is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist as designated by the American Meteorological Society and received a bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Lyndon State College in Vermont.

Taylor Mankle

Taylor is the co-host of Transforming Energy: The NREL Podcast. Taylor joined the NREL team in 2021 to utilize his storytelling abilities to help address the climate crisis. In his role, he coordinates and produces multimedia content in the water power space for the lab and the Water Power Technologies Office. 

Taylor obtained a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Iowa State University. Out of college he became a play-by-play broadcaster and sports anchor. Following his stint behind the mic and in front of the camera, Taylor moved to the nonprofit space as a storyteller for a branch of the United Way before finding his way to NREL.
